During the ripe young years of elementary school, Eileen’s aspirations to be a performer surfaced through “sometimes” staging fevers and sore throats so she wouldn’t have to go to school. Which further evolved into “occasionally” staging asthma attacks during middle school P.E.. Coincidentally, she was bit by the drama bug in high school and chose to further develop her craft by studying theater at California State University, Fullerton.
Post college, Eileen joined the main cast of hereandnow Theatre Company and continues to tour with them nationally and locally. In addition to acting, she has been blessed with the opportunity to write, direct, choreograph, design, and serve as company stage manager.
In addition to her award-winning role (Best Supporting Actress, Asians on Film Festival 2013) as the devious dancer #69 in the film “Born To Dance This Way,” Eileen also stars as Chai in the comedy series “The Broadcast Club,” which she co-writes and produces with creative partner Jerell Rosales.
When Eileen isn’t acting, writing, or dancing; she’s working with the future performers of tomorrow as a hip hop dance and theater teacher for kids throughout Southern California.
